The only other Family Silver. We obtained this in order to have the set, which actually increases the value of both when presented together.
In fact, we were lucky enough to get our hands on two bottles of the Glenglassaugh, and have made a bit of a dent in one of them. One for drinking, one for keeping.
Clutch lived opposite Glenglassaugh Distilleries in Glenglassaugh Cottage for two years, back when he was just four years old – so this one comes along with earliest formative memories. Not that he was drinking whisky at four – but when I tasted this one, I mentioned ‘sherbet dip’ as a flavour note – and he could actually recall eating sherbet dip on his way up the hill, heading home.
Very happy to have this one in the cupboard.
