Andrew Dubber (right) is a Reader at Birmingham City University, consultant, and founder of New Music Strategies. Although a New Zealander, his father was born in Glasgow, and so he is genetically predisposed to an appreciation of single malt Scotch.
Clutch Daisy (left) is a professional musician. He’s a composer, singer, and guitarist and a reformed scenic carpenter. Clutch is actually Scottish – from the North East.
Both have independently arrived at Lagavulin 16 as a dram of choice (though the Ardbeg Uigedail is currently challenging that particular orthodoxy) and the gift of a bottle is a surefire winner.
